Challenge BMW wanted to add a service building and outdoor canopy structure with architectural interest to existing facilities. W.E. Lyons was tasked with matching existing exterior finishes, and designing a “Columnaide Structure” to complete the design. All construction was required to be done while the existing dealership remained open.Solution Our design-build team included BMW staff to assure that the construction schedule would allow them to remain open for the duration of the project. In order to match construction type and exterior finishes, we analyzed the existing building construction and designed the new structure to closely match. The exciting new “columnaide structure” is an outstanding enhancement to the site. Highlights
